Aeronautic & space

Since the 1950’s, air traffic has continued to grow, democratising air travel while at the same time increasing significantly the impact on the environment.

Thanks to its extensive know-how, setec supports aeronautical engineering projects to develop more environmentally-friendly means of transport.

All the major operators in the Western aeronautics industry are working to reduce the impact of aviation on the environment: Airbus’s hydrogen-powered aircraft project (ZEROe), SAFRAN’s ultra-efficient engine (RISE), alternative fuel (SAF), optimisation of flight corridors.
