PM Office of Airbus’ ZEROe pre-programme

Missions
  • Proactivity and adaptability of the PM Office in a constantly changing environment, due to the nature of the project (technical challenges to overcome, interaction with multiple external partners, etc.).
  • Deployment of consistent project management practices throughout the pre-programme.

Reducing the impact aircraft has on climate change is essential for the aeronautics industry – and therefore for Airbus, which has committed to reducing CO2 emissions by 50% by 2050, compared with levels in 2005.

This means exploring a number of options for both the short term (2020 – 2030) and the medium term (2030+).

The aim of the ZEROe pre-programme is to evaluate, develop and position within the value chain several decarbonisation options to be made available at an industrial level by 2035: energy, CO2 capture, aircraft and associated technologies.

Our colleagues provide support to the core pre-programme team as well as to seven multi-functional teams.

eocen’s PM Office uses the hybrid method, a mix of traditional project management (“waterfall”) and “SAFe – Agile” (ceremonies, retrospectives, PI planning, etc.).

We implement processes, promote best practices and project management tools: project planning, EVM, cost management, risk and opportunity management, resource management, external funding management, etc.
