The Setec Foundation has created several ways for the group’s employees to be directly involved in activities, either as volunteers or through sharing expertise.   Since the creation of the Foundation, 27 employees have become involved as volunteers and two as sponsors.   The following commitments were proposed:

  • sponsoring a project as part of the Transition Fund, such as Fabienne Bardin of setec its, who proposed the financing of an insertion project from the “Ateliers de l’Audace”
  • a follow-up mission and a visit to a project sponsored as part of the annual campaign, such as the one carried out by Adrame Ndiaye with the two Senegalese associations supported in 2021 (sustainable construction in Africa) as part of their projects for eco- locations built with bio-sourced materials
  • participate in the pre-selection juries of the annual campaign, or also in the identification of projects as is currently the case for sustainable construction in Latin America

A source of personal fulfilment, for Laurie, skill sponsorships “makes us see projects and issues that are totally different from our professional projects, with new stakeholders”.

“A very enriching experience because it makes us see projects and issues that are totally different from those of our professional projects and at the same time, with new stakeholders“.     Laurie AVRILLAUD, setec organisation
