As the local transport authority, SMTAG manages four bus rapid transit (BRTS) lines in Lens-Liévin and Hénin-Beaumont: Bulle 1, Bulle 3, Bulle 5 and Bulle 7.
The new lines, covering a total of 68 km, play a key role in local development plans, providing a backbone for the two conurbations.
setec is providing contracting assistance for managing operations from the study to the delivery phases.
o Program redesign
o Developing design and service briefs (technical inspections, health and safety, diagnostics etc.) for the competitive bid process
o Defining the rolling stock equipment contract program
o Monitoring the general role of passenger information display systems
o Following up on regulatory studies
o Organizing project reviews and reporting
o Assisting coordination with the other project and network managers
o Providing technical assistance for piloting the design and implementation phases
o Providing assistance for validating design studies and call for tender documents
o Providing assistance at the work delivery stage
o Providing just-in-time supply assistance throughout the year
