Cattenom nuclear power plant biocidal treatment installations

Missions

Complete design

In order to prevent the spreading of amoebas and legionella on the Cattenom nuclear power plant (eastern France), EDF CNEPE (French nuclear power plant network) chose to implement two biocidal treatment installations. Further more, to reduce the environmental impact of wastewater discharge into the river, EDF CNEPE also decided to replace the two existing water calcification treatment installations.
Setec was entrusted the data monitoring of the project during the design phase and assisted the owner throughout the works phase up to industrial commissioning.
