A graduate from the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics, as well as a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Nottingham, Chloé joined setec four years ago. She is also part of the first class of the setec nuclear Academy; an internal training programme for new recruits, which provides a shared base of knowledge and a perspective on skills acquired.
In the video (found on the French page), she talks about her most recent project: the EPR (European Pressurized Reactor) plant at Hinkley Point in the UK. For her, technical skills in structural calculations, good analytical skills and discipline, as well as human skills, such as a preference for teamwork, are essential in her work. And why nuclear?
As Chloé explains, “working in the nuclear industry means first of all having the opportunity to take part in unusual projects, to deal with complex technical issues involving high stakes.
