The boarding stairs of the ports of Molène, Ouessant and Conquet do no longer comply with the safety standards. Therefore the Finistère General Council (western France) decided to upgrade the passenger boarding conditions on these ports. Within this project, setec provided assistance to BRL during the design phase, developing 3D modelling simulations of the pontoons’ hydrodynamic behaviour.
