A first of its kind in the Paris region, this 4.5 km cable car links
Créteil Pointe du Lac (the terminal of Line 8 of the Paris metro system) to Bois Matar in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges.
The project fits its context of fast urban development and a highly restricted environment, which led to this innovative mode of transport being chosen. The cable car runs above metro tracks, a main road and a shunting yard, and under electrical cables.
