Setec has supervised, on behalf of VIPARIS, the infrastructure works of the new Pavilion 6 at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, designed by Valode et Pistre Architects. VIPARIS Firstly, with site inspections over the demolition of the former Pavilions 6 and 8 and their underground car parks, representing an area of 48 600m ². Then, the monitoring of earthworks and evacuation of 190 000 m3 of earth, with the support of expertise in polluted soils. Before building the infrastructure of this new Pavilion 6, it was necessary to found 35 meters deep more than 550 piles. Today, the 65 000 m² of infrastructures, spread over three levels, are being finalised. They enable to create an exhibition area of 16 000 m², which will be covered by a metal frame, currently being assembled.
