Containers Terminal at the Port of Owendo

setec ensures the General Contract Management for design and works which includes the following assignments:

  • Preliminary Design studies
  • Detailed Design studies
  • Elaboration of tenders specifications
  • Assistance in awarding the works contracts
  • Works execution supervision • Review and approval of the execution design under Contractor’s scope
  • Works Acceptance Assistance
  • As-built records.

BOLLORE Group via its subsidiary STCG has been a concession-holder of the containers terminal at the Port of Owendo since 2009. STCG company incorporated in accordance with the legislation of Gabon which is also a concessionaire of the dry port of Franceville has initiated the works to improve the port’s infrastructure, namely to upgrade the open storage areas at its containers terminal at the Port of Owendo. The area allocated for the project has a surface of approximately 37 000 sq. m divided into 2 sections, one section located along the quay of 28 000 sq. m and the second one of 9 000 sq. m. The second section of 9000 sq. m. is considered as optional for the studies. Additional section of 9 000 sq. m allocated currently for RTG will be joined to the first section of 37 000 sq. m and will be commissioned upon the termination of works.
