The Louvre Post Office is famous for its late 19th century architectural and technical characteristics (stone facades, cast-iron frame, Eiffel type roof) with 35,000sqm of surface right in the center of Paris. Today this remarkable heritage was chosen by the La Poste Group to become a “flagship vessel” displaying the group’s new services and opened to the capital’s business and cultural life on a 24/7 basis.
For this project, La Poste Group wishes to implement ground source heat pumps (GSHP) by boring holes in the limestone in a verry dense urban environment.
