The Grand Paris Express project includes creating a new high-capacity automatic metro bypass. By 2030, this 200 km network with 68 new stations will link Paris to different strategic centers in the Paris region: urban centers, business centers, international airports and high-speed train stations.

The objectives of this project include:
o Improving everyday transportation
o Boosting economic development
o Supporting a new planning policy
o Bring certain areas out of isolation
o Contributing to environmental protection

La Société du Grand Paris is the project owner.
