The mission assigned to setec organisation consisted of producing, in close collaboration with the project teams, a schedule projecting the time required to reinstall the collections on the scale of individual works or groups of works.

In 2017, the National Marine Museum embarked on a vast programme of restoration and modernisation with the aim of reopening to the public in 2022.

This modernisation project is divided into three main areas:
The rehabilitation of the building and the redesign of the museum itineraries are being carried out under the delegated management of OPPIC.
The museographic project includes around 1,000 works of very different types and sizes. The MnM’s works are currently housed in reserves at Dugny, near Le Bourget in the Île-de-France region.
setec also performed an SCMC mission (setec opency) on behalf of Oppic, with the objective of managing the overall timetable for completion and handover of the project, and overseeing the interfaces between the different sub-operations.
