Since the end of the 1990s and the construction of the floating sea wall and jetty at Port Hercules, various temporary installations (quays and wharfs) had been kept at Fontvieille Port.
There was a real need to modernize these structures, which remained invaluable to port operations.
As the prime contractor on this project, setec‘s role was to permanently upgrade the infrastructures in the quai Jean Rey industrial zone within the budget, while enabling the port to remain open and limiting noise disturbance for the neighboring urban area.
