During the first phase, a large team of urban planners and technical experts carried out multiple site visits, conducted stakeholder meetings and collected field data to ensure a thorough understanding of the region’s challenges and opportunities.

Through these discussions, and with a great deal of help from the dedicated team at the Jazan Strategy Office (JSO), we were able to identify development directions and a vision for the future of the region and its surrounding areas, focusing on key themes including governance, urban planning, water, the environment, the economy and community.
These are important foundations for :
We are now in the process of drawing up the regional and local plans for six areas. The implementation of these plans will include governance strategies and practical actions to ensure the harmonious and sustainable development of the region.
