Albert Kahn Museum and Gardens renovation

Missions

Setec was entrusted the project management, complete design and construction supervision regarding MEP works, vertical transportation, external civil works, asbestos removal / depollution, environmental design. This assignment also comprises the ground source heat pumps (GSHP) design and implementation (including two 35m deep boreholes).

On a 4ha site of exceptional gardens, the project consists in the rehabilitation of 8 pavilions for a total of 3,900sqm for mixed use (administration, conservations, projections, exhibitions…) and the extension of the exhibition spaces with the construction of a 3,000sqm new building.
For this rehabilitation project, the Hauts de Seine General Council (West of Paris) chose to implement ground source heat pumps (GSHP) and entrusted Setec to carry out the feasibility studies, complete design and construction supervision.
